maybe lucky.got kid tmaxx 1.5 yrs. ago (8 scale nitro myself)and made 4 6 packs.2 nics 2 metal.on my 3rd esc and overheated batts labels burned off.let them recover 4 some time .4 weeks? anyway they run good as new if not better today.sure some fast and slow dumps but long and fast.yes dun all the cycle , discharge business..just drive and have fun

heheheh...well I agree with the overall point. I don't want to worry too much about my batteries, I just want reliable packs to have fun with.

1/8 nitro and T-Maxx - what are you running batteries in?

I didn't follow that post either - I run 1/10 electric touring and (even though this is my first season) I have found that ProMatch batteries are the way to go!

have both 1/8 gas tourer and e max.thread was about6 cell built packs

No you don't have to be as precise about batteries for bashing as you do in competitive racing situations. But there are some things you should follow to get good use and life out of any thing you use. Everyone does or uses a different technique, sometimes you take a little bit of what others do or find what works for you.
