duratrax vs traxxas

im deciding between a duratrax maximum st or a traxxas nitro rustler which one should i get and what have you guys heard about them

traxxas nitro rustler hands down i have heard numerous bad things about the max st the gears always strip and the truck is slow. the traxxas nitro rustler is VERY fast i think it goes over 35 mph and its durable as a brick also traxxas has great customer support and it has an easy start system which makes starting alot easyier.And its a GREAT jumper so i would deffinnantly get a rustler.

Screwem both and get a RC10GT.....But if you have to have one of them get the rustler, i might even get one just to beat the hellout of it, RC10GT is gunna be devoted to racing

The max st just has a lot of look good stuff but the chassis is very flexible it has a weak engine thats overgeared so it would only be fast on pavement. The traxxas is solid and has a decent engine. You will be much better off going the way of traxxas. A good idea to do is get a glow ignitor instead of using the wire from the eazy start. Unless you have a very good battery that is fully charged they are very hard to start like that.
