Do they make such a thing? If so where do you get them.

Just put some spacers or fuel tubing in your shocks to lower it.

get some road tires, put the shocks at the lowest setting and there you go.

Thanks for the replies. The reason I ask is my son has a B4 and would like to put a touring car body on it for racing.

I am not sure that will really work that well. Is he thinking of actually racing against touring cars? You best bet may be just to pickup a touring car to race with.

If he is wanting something that looks like a rally car I know there are some bodies out there that people have used before the rally car craze started for buggies they converted. I think I even saw an issue in car action about it.

Yeah thats what he wants. He wants his car to look like a touring car, you know, too fast too furious. Does anyone know who made those bodies you spoke of?

It would be best to pick up a cheap touring car, but there is one guy at my track that used to race a losi buggy with a truck buggy on it, and he did pretty darn well.

No one makes a lowering kit that I've ever seen. The simplest way to lower it is to put spacers inside the shock to limit the downward travel and run shorter springs. The more proper way to do it would be to run shorter shocks all around and maybe even fabricate shorter shock towers. As for the body it's been a long time since I've seen anyone making a full fender body that will fit over a buggy. There used to be some but most were rally cars. Ever since converted touring cars have come out as rally cars I havn't seen any of the wider bodies for buggies.

I think Parma used to wake Wide bodies to fit converted buggies?

I think that the article used some HPI bodies, you need to just make sure that you really trim the wheel wells back to clear the suspension and also use some limiters as well.

Sorry that i don't remember more, this article was quite awhile ago. If he really wants a rally, you can find alot of them on ebay dirt cheap.
