Hellooooo???? Does anyone have anything POSITIVE to say in here anymore? I think you guys are spending way to much time complaining (im-ur.com, readers rides) Does anyone have anything they LIKE lately?
Sit back, and read some of these threads sometime. We aren't gaining popularity with all the negative attitudes.
Maybe it would help if somebody pointed out something good for a change?
Do we enjoy our hobby? Or do we enjoy just dissing other people?
Personally, I LIKE the Readers Ride. Not overly trick, but he did a great job on it. You could tell from looking at it that it took alot of thought and time to finish the custom work. I think alot of us can see OURSELVES sitting there messing with it like he must have done.
And if you checked the im-ur.com thread, my opinion is clear on that fiasco.
LETS HAVE SOME FUN PEOPLE!! SHEESH!!!

Isn't this a negative thread? Maybe you should take your own advice. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

No, this is NOT a negitive thread. But it really didn't take long for you to make it that way. I just get really tired of everybody bitchin. I thought maybe if someone pointed it out, maybe it would help everyone lighten up.
1. Throtl? Sure, some things are expensive. But if you get the enjoyment that I do from it, what's the big deal. I just have to take my time hoppin up my GT. I am a single dad with 2 daughters, so it's not like I can afford to do much at a time. But the tension melts away when that GT rips down the track. That's my therapy and reward for bustin my butt for the last 8 years raising kids alone.
2. Top? READ the original post. and maybe you will get the idea. It's to start something POSITIVE, and get everyone to remember why they got in this hobby in the first place. Your smartalec reamrks are EXACTLY what I was referring too. This is SUPPOSED to be fun.
3. Nairb. Thank you. You obviously read the thread and understood the meaning. Rock on dude.

I think most of the negativity comes from the perennial "which is better" or "mine is better than yours" type of posts. We are all in it for the fun, yes? I mean who really cares if the MP is bigger, badder than the T-Maxx. There are people who are going to buy each one. Each has its weaknesses and each has its strengths. What upsets me most is when someone bashes something they have no experience with. If you have had a bad experience with something, let us know in an objective way, just don't say it's no good with no data to back it up. Also, brand bias is the worst thing you can do. One hobby class brand can be as good as another. All companies make some great and not so great cars. Let's just have fun and if I meet you at the track or an empty lot, let's just have fun.

My apologies. I agree that there is too much negativity on all of the boards. I think it stems from the fact that everyone is anonymous and never really has to answer for what they say.

We dont need this site to get alot of bad attitudes like the HPI site, that is the worst as far as negativity goes. RCCA dont let yours get that way.

LOL I was just doing that as a joke. It's a great hobby, to me it even seems similar to paintballing. Although paintballing does cost you around 120 a day http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/frown.gif. But everyone helps out each other and are all very friendly.

NOW WE'RE COOKIN!! FEEL THE LOVE!!! Ok, ok, got a little carried away. (Maybe I should quit drinking my fuel, eh?)
Top? No apology needed dude. I totally agree with you on the anonymous aspect. You see it in chatrooms all the time. I've seen your posts before, and it's obvious you are an alright dude.
Chuck- totally agree with what you are saying too. Sometimes the arguments get a little out of hand. I haven't drivin any of the other stadium trucks besides my GT, but I run against them on Saturday nights. And I have to admit, there are some nice trucks out there. But again, a freindly "rivalry" is a great thing to behold. Nothing like a little fender bashing to make the night more interesting.
We have a great bunch of guys here, and a really good place to shoot the bull about rc.We can have alot of fun with it if we use restaint and humor to make our points. We have our chance to make this the best rc BB on the net. Lets take advantage of it.
