Any velcro strap will work, it doesn't have to be super strong. Hardware store, fabric store, or department stores have them. 3/4" wide. Pro-Tech used to make velcro battery straps for just about anything.
I ran across some once, can't remember where ,they are 1/4" wide but have like a square "belt loop" at the other end, velcro-able on both sides so you can pretty much put one end through the hole and strap it to anything.
In the meantime you could zip-tie them in and charge them in the truck.
On ebay you may be able to find some velcro straps used for various cars. I saw some HPI Pro 2 straps on ebay not too long ago.

The adhesive velcro may be a problem, when the battery gets hot the adhesive will probably turn to goo. :D

Li poly batteries don't get hot so you don't have to worry about the adhesive melting. If the batteries do get hot enough to melt the adhesive you probably won't have a car left.
