This is my first time using slicks on my TC. My question is are the tires supposed to have a rounded contact patch or is supposed to be flat, 'cause mine a rounded. The tires are LP Slicks II on H13 compound, from Pro-Line.
Thanks

yes they are supposed to be rounded. The weight of the car should press them down a bit to give you a better contact patch.

Actually, it kinda depends on the tire construction, but I believe the one you have is supposed ti have a rounded contact patch. Pretty much all the non-belted tires are like that, which in certain situations can be an advantage. But when a flat contact patch is called for, then a belted tire is a better idea(& even then, there are some belted tires that have a rounded profile too). As a rule, if you need more side bite, then a rounded tire may be best, but if you want more straight line traction(or simply need less side bite) then a flat contact patch can be better.... :)
