I can't seem to find a forum for them. I've never had a micro car, but they look like a sweet deal. Tower has lowered the price from $179 to $124 RTR which includes full bearings, futaba radio gear, duratrax esc, painted and trimmed body, battery pack and charger! This is a 1/18 car like the micro rs4. In fact, I think the micro rs4 bodies fit. I dunno... a couple might be fun for my ashalt driveway. Anyone have one?

It's basically a Micro RS4 knockoff. Ok for what it is I soppose, and not bad for bashing, but if your looking to race or anything of that nature you'll probably be disapointed buying a knockoff of an already outdated car. If your just looking for a micro car to have fun with I'd suggest watching ebay for a used Micro RS4, for $125 you can pick up a fully loaded car that will literally run circles around the street force and will be WAAAAAY faster and more enjoyable as well.

You guys should look a little closer at the DTX micro. I have 2 micro RS4's and 2 Micro Street Forces. I would much rather run the DTX. Some of the problems with the rs4 were addressed when DTX came out with theirs. If you say there are not any problems with the micro RS4 then you have never driven one with a decent mod motor. Some of the RS4 hop ups fit on the DTX as well just to let you know.
I agree with JDawg. I have owned a micro RS4 with hopups on it because it went really cheap on ebay, I have also raced against them in a stock class and all I can say is that it was the most unbalanced car I have ever seen. It had way too much steering and grip up front, and the rear was on skates. this was worse on carpet. They were flip-o-matics. I ran against extremely modified MRS4s with a BRP SC18 with big AA batteries, full size electronics ( dutratrax sprint and standard receiver anyone? ) and was easily putting down 5 + laps on the field and our car speeds were fairly equal. The main upgrade that I saw people do to get the MRS4 to handle was using the ARM chassis.
As for my opinions on the Duratrax car, I am not sure as I haven't see one go. The cars I have wheeled, the X-Ray micro and the BRP SC18 handled great. The SC18 probably being the most bang for the buck as all you need is the ball diff kit and you are set. seen them go on ebay for as little as $50 NEW.
