Can you fix a torn tire?

I just tore my darn tire taking it off the rim (used the boiling method)it dosent look too bad?Would a small piece of duct tape and some RTV save it?

for that to work you have to let it cook for a long time
put it in the water let it sit till boil
wait five minutes then take 1 tire out try to take of some of the tire till it start to tear then put it back in the water do this till you get it off all the way

and put cooking salt in when u boil tires , cause it brings up the boil temp a little = every little helps http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
