My beautiful Lexus IS200 body is starting to chip and bubble!! Is there anyway to get ALL of the paint off w/o using any paint thinner? That stuff always seems to fog up the lexan.
HELP!!!!

Well, right now if I can get the body REALLY cold(stickin' it in the freezer for several minutes, then taking it out) and then bend the plastic, the paint just seems to pop right off. But this is gonna be time consuming.
The nitro fuel idea seems interesting. I'll ask in the Nitro Forum. Thanks. http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif
Anyone else have any ideas?

I used nitro fuel to clean the paint off of mine and it came off really easy I just used a an old toothbrush to work it into the paint and it helps to use a spray bottle to keep the paint wet use the nitro fuel to rinse it off you need to use alot of it but it comes out sweet!!the edges don't get very clean but I imagime a light scuff with a dish scrubber or some light sand paper would fix that? Then when you are done was it with reall hot soapy water and rinse it till it is squeaky clean and your ready for a new paint job!!!!! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks for the link Joe. I was gonna do it bare handed, but I think I'll grab some rubber gloves to protect my hands. Goggles for my eyes, and I'll most definately do it outside. Thanks for all your help guys!!!!
