Actually, with the exception of the Torsen Diff, the Nitro Quake comes pretty much hopped up. Plenty of aluminum everywhere. QuakenShake, back me up here!

I got your back Chucksolo(hows your maxx coming along?). Uhh NewEraModels in the adds in RCCA say they have Quake hop-ups. I checked their site but no info on what the parts are. What kind of hop-ups do you mean?
You can use other tires and rims. Get tuned pipes. Clutch bells, if you want to call a clutch bell a hop-up.
There are rumors of a 2-speed.

My friend has a NQ and he was wondering if there were any hopups.

My T-Maxx is great Quake. I ran it all day Sunday with my friend's Quake and we had a blast. He's bummed he can't run over me now like he used to when I was running my NRustler! Nothing like a couple of MTs going at it. Long live the Quake and the Maxx!!! BTW-Any word on the new Thunder Quake? My friend is dying to know if the two speed from that rumored truck will bolt onto his standard quake? If they do bing out a 2 speed for that monster, I may be forced to put a .21 in my Maxx!!

Whats the Thunder Quake? It is going to be a hopped up version of the Quake like the Duratrax Maximum MT and ST Pro's?

From what little is known it should be quite different from a Quake. 1st it will have reverse. 2nd it may (not sure) have a 2speed. 3rd more ground clearance. 4th A somewhat different chassis. 5th different rims(larger diameter) and the tires will have shorter sidewalls. Some of this info I got at the Chicago Hobby Show asked the rep myself and from a person called Hankster at another site.

The Thunder Quake sounds cool. Sounds as if Duratrax is trying to challenge the T-Maxx.
