ok, i need some help quick... i knew this would happen.....
i hooked up my old futaba esc to a traxxas bandit im restoring... well, i forgot which one connects to the batter and which goes to the motor (same type of connectors...
ok, i tried the black and red wires to the battery, and the orange and blue to the motor... the + and - were hooked up correctly on each... yet very quickly the esc heated up and started putting out smoke... i stopped it (took about 10 seconds to happen) and now im confused... i had battery power to the servo... please help me....! hopefully i didn't damage the esc much...
