I'm dying to know if/when I can buy a worlds edition (or "CR") of the XXXT. Can I get one in the next few months? I'm really hoping so. Here's the deal, I'm getting a fat check in January of February and I'm absolutely going to buy a new R/C truck, but I'm now confused. I've been a loyal Associated guy for about 8 years now, but I'm really digging the XXXT. Dang, it's cool. I was so serious about getting a Factory Team T3, but now I think I've changed my mind. A friend let me drive his XXXT at the track and I REALLY like it. I love how it looks, how it drives, how cool and user-friendly and revolutionary the design is, but I don't love how the kit is missing essential (in my opinion) components. I can get a Factory Team T3 for about $250 with everything I want, but if I get a XXXT kit I'll have to buy loads of hop-ups to bring it to the same level. That would make it more expensive, troublesome, and wasteful (beacause of unused mediocre parts) and that's not music to my ears. My question is this: will Losi offer a comparable (to the Factory Team T3) kit by early next year? PLEASE say yes. PLEASE!! I want to be converted to the loyal Losi clan, but I demand quality stuff. I'm not saying the XXXT kit is crap, it's just not up to the level I want when I buy it. What am I asking for? A good worlds kit should include titanium turnbuckles (hinge pins are a bonus), CVDs, bearings (of course), Graphite chassis, arms, and shock towers, maybe titanium nitride shock shafts, ball-bearing steering, and maybe some extra anodized stuff. So there's my wish list. Is there anything in the works? I sure hope so, because I REALLY don't want to buy all that stuff separately. Next time I'm at the track I want to try driving a T3 and a XXXT then make a serious comparison. It's decision time and this is a hard one.

I have a xxxt and i just finished a FTT3 for my brother a couple of weeks ago. I havnt seen anything that would indicate losi would be releasing an upgraded kit of the xxxt, its still pretty new and the xxx has been out awhile and there isn't one for that, so i would not count on it any time soon.
The FTT3 comes with some pretty cool stuff, i have driven and built both, and the xxxt just handles better. infact my brother thinks he made the wrong choice, and plans on replacing it along with his tc3 for other reasons.
I think the T3 is a great truck when compared to the xxt, but xxxt performance wise i think is a level better.
I have been upgrading mine as i go and i agree it would be cheaper if you could get it all in one package, but alot of the upgrades except turnbuckles are not really needed rightaway.

I just got my xxxt, and just got done with everything about an hour ago. The xxxt is a way better truck on the track. Hey whats a few bucks gonna hurt to have a kick azz truck like this. I was planing on getting a T3 but when i saw the Losi (Looks & Price) i just had to have it. I got it for 199.99. Come on over to the Losi side....you will not regret it! I don't think Losi will come out with the whole package, but if you been racing for a while and have extras around the tool box, its unbeatable. One more thing about this truck that got me is..the first time i took it out i was doing some awsome whillies. I guess i gotta get used to the dual-disk slipper! http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

I basically e-mailed them the same thing I posted a couple days ago. We'll see what they say when they reply, probably nothing new.

They probably won't make one unless they win a major race with it (like the NORRCA Truck World Cup)
