whats a rc12lc? how is it differnt than a rc12l3

I might be wrong, but I believe the LC is an older version of Associated's pan cars. You know how they change the names on their trucks and buggies (RC10, RC10B2, RC10B3 and RC10T, RC10T2, RC10T3), well they do the same with their pan cars.
