OK, I just ordered some decal paper from walthers. My question is how do I apply this stuff? Do I have to apply it wet and backwards? It doesn't seem to want to stick.
I'd really like to make this stuff work, I've got a color laser printer just itching for my logos http://www.rccaraction.com/ubb/smile.gif

Walthers... Although I'm less than satisfied with it right now... The stuff still doesn't want to stick. I don't know if it's my technique or what.
Anyone know of alternatives?
BTW, here is the stuff http://www.walthers.com/exec/productinfo/934-706821

It means you dip it into a little cup of water until the decal slides off then you apply it to the application where you want it. Squegy the air from under it and then let it set up. They also sell stuff called "Decal Setting Solution" that is supposed to prevent bubles and allows the decal to fit over details better. It is in the 2000 Walthers HO Scale Model Railroad Reference book 460-104 or 460-105. The -105 is for larger decals and more stubborn areas.

Here's what worked for me:
Get yourself some Glossy Laser (in your case) or InkJet sticker paper. Epson makes it for InkJets and I'd assume Canon has some too. Make sure it's something you can cut out and doesn't need transparency though because the paper only comes white.

In the most recent issue of RCCA I saw that Bruckners carries a decal making kit which uses an ink jet printer and clear OR white paper. Don't know if it works or anything about it, but its something to check out.
