I have been been out of the sport/hobby for a while now and in order to save time and money upon reentering I will probably buy alot of my stuff online. So what are some of your favorite online hobby shops, for price and for service. Thanks and keep the urls coming....

Anything I can get off eBay is better than any online shop, I'll do Tower (I'm not far from them)and Nitrohouse when I can't get it on eBay.

eBay is not for some people, though. If you don't do your research and check out the sellers and ask questions before bidding (If you're not sure what you're looking at and shipping price etc..) you're asking for trouble.
If you do shop eBay learn to proxy bid or snipe(bid late), or else you'll lose and be mad because you didn't bid truthfully.

Lhs. Period. I would rather pay a little extra, than take a chance that they may go out of business.

I try to use my LHS as much as possible but for hard to find parts I turn to the Online shops because certain parts I need I cannot special order from the LHS.

Ace Hardware Hobbies and Tower Hobbies are the two I mostly use for hard to find parts.

I too am a LHS kinda guy, however I am currently deployed to Iraq, so currently the LHS is totally out of the question. Sorry...

For online hobby shops, I think ultimatehobbies has about the best prices for kits. They match up quite well with the prices that I see for NIB kits on ebay, alot of times cheaper. I just wish there website was similar to towers so you can see all the stuff they have as alot of the stuff they carry isn't listed on the site.

I try to buy from my LHS parts and stuff, but for kits alot of times the markup is kind of high, one place I went to the other day had a markup of $100 on the common price for a Savage 25.

well, for "personalized service", I like Amainraceway.com They are a LHS in seattle, WA. But I live in alaska so they are my closest one. Also they do "Price matching"...I.E. They wnted $189.99 for a picco P3 .26...Tower wanted $174, I told them that, and they said "Ok, we'll match them". and they have matched tower on everything I have purchased from them so far...Also like I said, I love the "personal service". When I call them all I do is give them my name, and they know who I am, what I own, and most likely, what I broke..LOL, Anyway, 2nd to them, it would be Towerhobbies :-) Just my .02
