Need Help w/ custom truck :eek:

I"m working on a custom R/C truck using the art of lost wax molding and I need some help on design (I'm 16 and most of the truck is ready to be molded) but I nee some help w/ 2 parts...the shock towers...what I'm asking (even the guys at RCCA's help would be appreciated. I was wonder ing if you guys could trace or design a front or rear shock tower for a stadium truck of any kind. when all the designs are compiled the names of the designs used or combined will be put on the truck

thats cool. i can't submit a disign, but couldn't you use a shock tower from another car (xxxt, rustler, ts) and make a mold of it?

one problem with that gyro...I want this truck to be completely custom...therefore it has to have it's own shock tower.

do u want this truck to be a racer, or a jump truck, or a mess around truck? if u want a race truck, i think u should have as many holes for the shocks as u can. and make it as light, btu as strong as possible. try to get like two things that go to the bottom, and make it hollow inbetween them. and then, makwe some cross bars inbetween that to sterengthen it. for a jump truck, design the shock tower the same, but maybe with thicker center supports. and some shock mount holes which will give u more ground clearence. and for the mess around truck, just mix the two.

how are u gonna make this? plastic? injection molding? at 16 how do u get access to soemthing like that? i wish i could do that. that would give me good practice for when i become an engineer for an rc company.

it's more a high speed jump truck with a custom design dual rear shock system so it needs to be durable.but I need some sketches!
