Well its summer out and well it gets hot where i am, temps range from 95-103 in the air and the pavement is even hotter. Of course with no school we all can run our cars when we want, but by the time most of us get up its already hot out if u dont have to work over the summer. So the question comes to my mind, how do u all keep yourself from getting really really hot??
I myself get in the shade to tune my XXXNT or work on my T4 when im running and i wrap a towel around my head to keep the sun off my face(sp the ends fall around the side of my face). Also i bring 2 bootles of water out with me.
How do u all beat the heat?

I live in canada. To beat the heat, i just huddle inside my igloo. Then, if that's a little too cold, i'll run my nitro inside the igloo. If i dont pass out from the fumes, i'm just dandy. :D

luckilly my track is 70% shade hehe. i dont run my cars when its too humid or over 90. Just not worth it for me or to my engine. try running a higher percent nitro and a huge cooling head. I'm sure that will bring down the temps.

Finish out day backfloating in the pool.
Before ya say it, I'm not rich, and we're on a 150 GPM well, just got lucky on this house. :D
EDIT: Just for the record, I read somewhere that your body will regulate better from putting your hand in a bucket of cool water than dumping it over your head. The tiny veins in your hand act as a better radiator to carry the cooler blood through your body, when you dip your head it just evaporates. So if it's a really toasty one, give it a try.

if u submerger ur arm from the elbow down ur body heat drops faster... they have special chairs for firefights and its been prover that it works.... just a lil science boys and girsl.....

Wear a cool looking hat(Not a ballcap, they suck), try the "Crocodile Dundee look".:p Don't get agitated, try to keep relaxed, as soon as you get excited you'll start cooking. I bring a soft cooler that I fill with ice and a 6 pack of cokes too, works for me.
