is 50 oz. in. of torque enough to steer my rustler or should I get a high torque servo.

thats pretty good. You may want to throw down for a Hitec MG servo, from my experience they are the most reliable servos on the market. Also the ones that will work best dont run over 50 bucks.

You should be just fine with 50 oz. though.

I just picked up a Futaba S3305 all-metal servo for my electric Rustler for $69 CDN at my LHS... 99 oz-in @ 4.8V or 124 oz-in @ 6 V

Has plenty of torque to spare... a 50oz should be plenty

yeah I just saw your truck and it looks sweet! Did you paint the stock rims. Anyway I am getting an Mx3 and I was going to use the standard servo that came with it. I will eventually upgrade to the hitec 625mg.
