I don't know what charger you are talking about but I do have a Triton and it is an awesome charger.

That's it. Have you ever charged two packs at once? Any problems? I'm considering getting one for my E-Maxx batteries.

cnroman, I use the triton all the time . It works good for doing packs that are closely matched, I use it for all my batts. I charge both packs at once for the e-maxx, just had to make a series connector so it's all one battery.

This works well, especially if you run a seperate rx battery. The only thing to look out for is when running the e, it will use about 100-300 mah more from the pack that supplies the servo and when charging with one charger you don't get an equal charge.

I prefer to use a seperate charger once in a while to bring both batts up to a full charge in addition to using the highest capacity battery on the side that powers the rx and servo. I think if I was just charging stock e-maxx batts only, I would get a twin or 2 chargers.

Another thing on the triton is it will only do 5 amps at 18 volts, any higher (like 14 cells+) and the rate starts dropping off. Hope this helps you make a decision

guver, Thanks for that info. I guess I'm better off using two chargers.

I hate to steer you away from the triton, as it is one of my best/favorite chargers, it's very versatile. I just think that for doing stock e-maxx batts there is a better choice, both practically and economically.

Triton works very well! But why buy a charger that will do things youll never use! I use this charger all the time but I have and use every battery type it charges.... at over a hundred dallars it hardly seems worth the money just for one type of battery! think about buying a charger that will charge two pack at a time. It will save about 50 dallars> On the other hand, if you plan on expanding your hobbies then it will be your best investment...
