Tamiya just re-released the original BMW M3 body from 1991 and it has to be one of the most beutiful RC bodies ever produced.
HPI makes the M3 GTR body, and it also looks very nice.
Both of these bodies will fit your TC3, just make sure you get the HPI version in 190mm.
You can hide your antenna by cutting out a strip of lexan about an inch wide and 6 to 7 inches long ans running your antenna wire up it. Mount it to your chassis and make sure it stands up under your body. It should work well.
As for people to paint your body, you'll just have to look around and find someone. I personally get a lot of satisfaction in painting my own bodies. I paint bodies for locals around my hometown if they don't want to, but I have to charge to do it.

Thanks for the info, Are you talking about this tamiya body kit?

If so that is nice but pretty pricy, a little more than I wanted to spend, also the HPI kit is more along the lines of the look I was going for, someone posted a nice M5 body but I don't know if that will fit.
Thanks for the heads up on the antenna, I will try that as I really don't want anything hanging out of the car, also I think I will either go with silver or black so hopefully painting shouldn't be that difficult.
Thanks again.

He's right. That is the bosy I was speaking of, but it includes the entire chassis kit. You should be able to buy the body seperately very soon. Just go to Tamiyausa.com and look it up, or call 1-800-tamiya-a

Most Tamiya bodies eventually sell for about $29, which is a little more expensive than most HPI or Pro-Line/Protoform bodies, but IMO the detail and realism more than make up for it.
I hope they bring back more of their bodies from the early and mid 1990's.

What will the demensions be on that M3??? I gottahave one
Whats the wheelbase of tamiya's?? it seemsevery car has a shorter wheel base than my ThunderTiger which means i cant use any of their bodies :(
if you do get HPI's M3 and put it on a TC3, make sure your ride height is tall enough, HPI's M3 has a big front bumper and sideskirts, i destroyed my BMW body cause my ride hieght was so low lol.

Steve, you're in luck.
Tamiya is starting to revive their most popular cars from the early to mid 90's. They started with bringing back the M3, and the Mercedes 190 Evo II that ran in the same class as the M3 has been released. Both are on the TT-O1 chassis. They also re-released the Eunos Roadster (Miata in the states), as well as the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA on the MO-4M chassis. Look out for more of their popular sellers to be re-released. I hope they bring back the Civics and some of the other FF-O1 cars that were popular in the mid 90's.
