Tires needed for racing.

I am getting closer to racing. Now I need tires. I know you guys don't know the type of track I will race on but what tires would any racer need. Also what tire company do you like best. Losi or Pro-Line?

Well i'm an on-road guy pretty much but i do know the basics of off-road. I would probably go with Pro-line. you can check out www.teamassociated.com (http://www.teamassociated.com) for the suggested tires that the associated sponsored racers use. It shows the setup a pro would make on his associated model. good luck.

if i were you i would get some bow ties they have darn good grip on hard packed dirt and dusty dirt too u know the kinda loose stuff.

the best (and cheapest) way to figure out what tires you need is to simply hit your local track, and see what the fast guys in your class are using...

you could go out and buy several different tires, only to find out none of them work at your local track....
