dunno bout the others but the superbrain only goes up to 4.5 amps. i'm a nitro guy but the electric guys at my track like to charge their batts at 6 amps, so they always make fun of my purple charger, but i'm only charging rx/tx batts so it's fine for me.
for charging car packs you might want something else.
o the superbrain is HORRIBLE, dont ever get it, never charges batteries right, always false peaks unless it has a cooling fan on it, even then it only last not very long before it starts malfunctioning again, mine just crapped out, not even a year old.
avoid the superbrain unless you use it for micro racing or you can rig a fan. Of the last two chargers, maybe the duratrax one will be better. What is your budget right now?

Thanks, after reading a few threads on the MRC unit I decided that isn't the best alternative. I am really looking for something to use to "bash" around as I am not getting into racing again, something that supports nimh and also nicad even though I doubt I will be buying any new nicads, would like to keep it under $70 and also have AC capability as most of my charging will be done at my house and not on the road. My old charger was a pro tech 702 and I would like something smaller and quicker than that.
Thanks

Thanks, and this is better than the pirahana? how about the mini version of this or is that intended for smaller batteries?

The Deluxe version can charge NiMH cells much better than the Mini can. For a budget charger, this one is pretty good. I had one before I bought my Pulsar Competition.

Thanks, I just found a brand new one listed on ebay for $20 that I put a bid on, hopefully that pans out, if not then $70 isn't too bad...any thoughts on the piranaha series as I don't know if I will need the performance of this model or is it just that these are much better, thanks.
