LRP F1 problems!!

Hey guys. I am trying to set up my brothrs XXX with an F1 and it doesnt seem to want to enter the set up mode. Any ideas? i have the instructions, and am following, but not working.. please help..

I run the GT7 because the Quantum just dont fit my driving style.
