i hope it works i did it this way so i can put the hatch on becuse of the radio gear doesnt have a water proof box.. i have to seal up where it comes out a lil i held my lighter up to the hull just to get heat on it and it didnt melt so i think im ok im sure the heat from the lighter is hoter then the tuned pipe will get..heres some pics

yes i got i! any ideas to sew up my nice big hole i did where the pipe exits? its a lil bigger then the pipe i had to cut it like that so it can fit..or do u think its fine not that much water is goin to get in prolly i have th auto bailer too so i might just leave it..

The hole looks OK. I woud put some zip-ties on the coupler though.

Interesting header pipe you have there.Have you run it yet ?.How do you like the pipe ?.My pipe exits just behind the anttena.I dont have a metal carb on mine ,its plastic.What % nitro are you running ?.I have my rudder trimmed way back to see how it runs ,and it still doesnt porpose.

im just runnin 20% for right now yes ron the ties are goin on tomrow when i recive my tiger drive in the mail! finnaly took forever..but then ill finalize everything as soon as i get the drive in... havnet tryed firing it up yet the header pipe i got from the new RCBM they used it with the cen pipe but i dont like the cen pipe so i used the header from the conversion and got a mac 2.5 pipe

Did you drill and tap the pressure fitting ?, or did it come that way?.Let us know about the haet build up .I am running the cen plastic /glass pipe and it gets to 225degrees when I get it up to temp.I am not touching the hull at any point .I will have to post a pic here when I get a chance.I have my cooling lines turned so they dont go over the carb like yours and I added 1/8 cooling line to cool the engine better.My temps run about 125-150.I like your fuel tank .How big is it?.I get 6min per tank right now ,its not very long .I got an electric boat to fetch it when it quits but now I watch my stop watch and get it back in when i get to 5min.

the fuel tanks is a 4oz sullvan its the best size to keep it light i drilled the hole for the fitting and just screwed it on i didnt tap its a alumini pipe so it made the threads as a screwed it on its the mac tuned pipe should be able to get it anywhere i figured im ok becuse the heat from the lighter flame didnt melt the hull. so ill see how it goes

this is just a thought, but i've hooked up "wet" pipes on two of my nitro boats now. it keeps the pipe a little cooler and sounds really nice out on the water. it's not common on nitro (or so i'm told), but most gassers run it. if you have heat problems you may want to consider it.

damn im a ******* i was pulling on the pull starter just playin with it and it came unravled now i have to wind it all back up damn me lol anyways i wasent thinking the hatch dosent close all the way becuse the coupler is to high up so i have to cut some parts on the hatch so it can fit perfect.

Heh I had to cut holes in my hach when I stil had one on my mono case thhull wasnt open yet the ingine stuck out the top looked kinda kool An the header looked kinda like youres Heh Good Times! Il see if i could find a foto. Probly not but Ill try. :)
