I thought at first, you use a cutoff for NiMh cells, and not for Nicd. Then I found out I should use them for both. I was draining my Nicd's all the way down. I was getting false peaks sometimes, within the first min or so. Then it would be ok, like the Millennium was having a hard time "jump starting" the dead battery. Since then, I have not drained them completely, and not one false peak. But I want to go buy a cutoff switch. They are 5.4volt, right? Can I find them at Radio shack? I think my LHS has one, but they don't know what volt cutoff it is, sigh. I think it was like $12!

For that much, would it be better to just buy a 30amp discharger? I saw one that had a lil fan on it, and you just hit the button. I bought it, but it drained the battery, then shut of, then I hooked the battery to my bulbs and still had a charge, so I thought the discharger was bad(before I knew about the cutoff, lol). So I took it back.

Anyone know if these dischargers have the 5.4 cutoff already in them, I assume they do, but the discharger had no papers or instructions.
