which do you feel is better and why? I am looking to buy one of these shortly for a T3 for racing. I know, I know, I should get a forwards only, but I gotta have reverse for practicing and for times off the track. I just race at my local track and it is friendly, not cutthroat, so I am not obsessed with resistance of reversable ESC's.

Anyways, I cannot decide which is better. AND, I noticed that people with mod motors, screaming down the straits, have AWESOME breaks, makes my current rooster smart breaking look pathetic. This is drag breaking right? Can either super rooster or the LRP be adjusted to do it, and if so, how?? Does this type of breaking cause more heat on the batt and ESC, thx.

If you will race then by all means go with the LRP.

It is MUCH smaller, lighter, and runs at a higher frequency giving you smoother throttle and longer runtimes with less heat.

The SR is OK but is more expensive, performs worse, and is WAY too large to stick in ANY race vehicle, if it will even fit to begin with.
