Airtronics XL2P Crystal cover

I have an old ('85 or so) XL2P and would like to know if it's possible to remove the crystal cover on the Tx and replace the crystal? It doesn't have the new style cover and seems kinda permanently glued or something.

Here's a pic. The crystal is behind the 84 I think.
