Where can I find a really nice wing for a 1/10th scale car body. I've seen several pictures in R/C Car Action with cars that have the very real looking wings, with individual upright mounts and aluminum looking wing. :)

Tamiya makes a nice wing. It comes with 2 uprights, 2 angled mounting bases to adjust angle, and two styles of polycarbonate wings. You can also get one of the wings in a carbon fiber pattern. Tower Hobbies has them for like $12. This is my Pro-Line Gallardo with one. ( I cut out the centers of the uprights with an X-acto knife to make it more realistic.)

I believe this is what you are looking for. Endless makes some pretty trick looking wings for touring cars

Thanks! Did you notice the air scoop on the back? It's from an HPI Baja Bug body :D

MAN I want that lambo. That is one of the best jobs I've seen on a Gallardo. Smooth and wicked. Too bad Tamiya only makes the Countach and the Cheetah from lambo.

i know me and my little bro picked up some clear lexan wings made by ben's or dean's, i forgot the companie's name. THey come in plastic bags with bright green hanging tags on it. We both picked up the TC Super Wing, it has 2 wings on top of each other and the top wing is adjustable

Thanks. HPI now makes a Gallardo with seperate headlight buckets so I might be making another one :D

thundebt3: Were they BRP wings? I know BRP has bright green tags on their packaging.

On your Pro-Line Gallardo you said you cut out part of the centers uprights with an X-acto knife to make it more realistic

Does that make the upright weaker

or does it not do anything at all?

I don't think it weakens it but I don't run that body so I cant say for sure. It's still pretty strong and won't fold at high speed if that's what you mean.
