Don't know if I'm gonna make it tomorrow. My sister is having a birthday party for my nephew, and looks like I'm going to have to go. We'll see.

I may not make it next weekend either. My wife's birthday, my high school band reunion, and Mother's Day all happen next weekend.

But I'm coming back as soon as I can. I'm itching to break out my Mini T again, and my son wants to run his Carisma car. My Legend car is, uh, sorta in pieces right now. But I'll see if I can put it back together.

Well Rodney won the Legends class but he did it with my ESC in his car!!! Good run by him and Jimmy Wilson both. Randy didn't do all that bad either, he just needs a teeny tiny more speed and he'll be right there.

Hey Dee; Yes we have a couple of different Styles (the Sedan and the newest Coupe body). Be glad to see you Come back. Some of the guys have been asking about you and when you are coming to race again. There should be a good class of Legends starting back . We have 3 in it now,You would make 4 and at least 2 or 3 more have Legends that said they would run. If all or most of them come at the same time it would make for a very interesting main. :D Just joking would probably HAVE to be an A and B main. Hope to see you soon, Smitty

Smitty was very sick. Hacking cough, Stuffed nose and head.He didn't sleep at all Friday night and vey little Saturday night; and whats even worse than that he passed it on to ME!!! Oh, Dee,,, I uh,, set a new track record yesterday. I beat Jimmy's time by about 1 second. Told you it'll go if I can make it turn.

BUT,, That kid Dustin? his truck was way faster than mine or Jimmy's. We didn't go faster than 4 flat and he was turning 3,9-3.8's. But every time Lisa would say how fast he was going, he'd wreck!! Had fun yesterday, even though I got there really late, but hey,, next time Jimmy's off, maybe we'll have a go at it again. Then again, there is a trophy race this weekend. Wanna go?

Got everything installed, and went over the whole truck. Found a couple of problems. I tried it on the road in front of my house, and it seems so much smoother, and seems to have more punch. I guess I'll find out! :D

Hi Dee, we should have 4 or 5 in mini-t truck if you and Ron come even without Jimmy; but do hope Jimmy can make it. He usually does if he don't have to work. Randy and Dustin will definatley be there and Rodney said he was with his Legends car. Also got in a 4-cell 3300 Peak battery. It is a new national matched pack 1.191. Just got 1 to see how it does .It has some great readings on it. Hope to see you Sunday.

We had a good class in Late model Mini-t and Carisma Jr. last Wednesday AND Sunday. Was some very good racing going on. Somebody has got to whoop Chris though.; It's getting close. Now all we need is the Legends class back. Some has started; but need more in the class,. All Carisma classes are racing FREE right now. Most of our guys have Mini-t's; but we have a class that you can run in with the truck bodies. The Late Model bodies are all MIni-t for stock; But we also have Mod.and outlaw for the Late Model bodies. come on out. We would be glad to have you! Don't know how many we will have this Sunday since it's Fathers Day; but should have a few anyway. :)

We had the Mini T trophy race yesterday, Don. Attendance was low yesterday, probably because of the holiday, so Smitty decided to have the Legends race this coming Sunday, the 10th.

Hello Fellows, the dirt track is under way --rail road ties have been brought in and 5 loads of dirt has been dumped and if the bad weather holds more loads of dirt are coming. Won't be long now. will be 240' with 12' travel lanes, flat oval dirt super speed way,for gas and electric. Can you smackers handle it,or give in to the pressure?

Rodney, man, I know you were frustrated yesterday. I turned the fastest laps with that Legend car I ever have trying to catch you, and couldn't. I got down in the 3.4's, only to see you were turning low 3.3's. My hat's off to you. If that tire hadn't come apart with you, it would have been over for me from the start.

Don, I know you were frustrated too. But don't give up. We want to help you get that thing hooked up. I'll be back to Laso in a couple of weeks, and we can check it out. Don't give up, we enjoy racing with you.

We are trying to space it up and down to help prevent damage.--- Just have competitive fun. "HOPEFULLY' it will be ready to go Sunday. :D

Well, since we are gonna try off roading on the 'ol carpet track, I managed to get my Mini T raised back up to handle the jumps. I've got no idea how it is gonna handle until I try it, though! :eek:

By the way, did you mention something about a table top jump??? :confused: :( :eek: :) :D Yes a table top, it is great, not abusive like a lot we have seen,you will like it.We are going to put a double in,we just didn't have time enough to finish that last thing, we worked on it all day until 11pm Sat. night.The track is now 135 feet and plenty of room it still can be made oval,road coarse and OFF ROAD, as we have it.You will like it, we didn't even lose a ball cup. See you Sunday.YOU CAN RUN FOAM OR STREET TIRES,FOAM TIRES STILL WORKS BETTER,any gear or motor or battery. Our main was 10 minutes and still had battery left. ;) Smitty

Hmmm, first time out with no set up and ends up third. Not too shabby I would say,,,

Definatly was fun running "clean" offroad. the little changes to the track should make it even better. Hopefully to return next weekend.

NO, the track is just too small to run 1/10ths on.One or 2 messing around is one thing, but racing them would be hazardous to the track, marshalls and the cars. BUT, Smitty does have "rent a racers" there. I think they're all Carisma cars though.

It would be too long to go into here but lets just say he's nuts. Since I bought mine and it's a "pro" he's convinced that its faster than his "standard" one. Even though he can build his to be exactly like mine, mine is fast. BUT, we go the same motor, he already upgraded his shocks, bearings and a few other things. But since mine came with all that crap in it and it's called a "pro", its got to be better than his so he wont race with others like mine. Like I said,, nuts. He even went so far as to say that even if I put in a totaly "stock Losi radio system", mine would be quicker, faster than his because it's a Pro. Even though he can buy the same stuff that's included in mine. Nuts.

Anyhow,, let me know which one you want, he's selling his "stock" one, the blue Aluminum one, and the one that's in enough peices to make it into a complete truck.

Hey ron ZZZZZZZZZZ :D ;) , You think you liked the track last week,YOU"LL really love it this week. We have made some additional changes with the jumps and table tops. Wider and better and actually increased the length of the track a little more. We had a good night Wed. we had two off road classes and an oval class. Changing did'nt take but a minute. All the additions are carpet. Remember Gary Moore,He ran oval with us.He said he was giving up dirt oval and was going to start racing with us. He is coming back Sunday. Dick will probably come shortly. Dee will probably like the off road a little b etter now too. It's even a lot better than last week. As soon as we actually finish all that we want to do we will put another picture up. We wanted to make sure we were finished before we put another one. :confused: Do you know anyone that wants to buy a BATTERY ZAPPER? It is in excellent condition. :) $250.00 plus shipping. :D OK YOU OFF ROAD GUYS We are having a TROPHY RACE next Sunday the 21st.,if enough show up. The 1st. place TROPHY is real nice :cool:,and we have trophies ;) for 2nd. and 3rd. place .It will be the first trophy off road race we have had. The off roaders are doing really good and we are starting to get more to turn out. the track has a good carpet set up,and we are able to change it back to oval in less than 5 minutes. We changed it between heat races Sunday and switched it right back. These 1/18 scale trucks are great and really fast :D So get the dirt off you trucks and come on,it's lots of fun :)

Just to keep this to the top. We need more offroad racers. The course is a lot of fun and a Mini-t pro or rc18 RTR is very competitve with just the addition of foam tires. No hot motors or batteries needed. Racing Wed. at 7:00 pm and Sundays around 3 pm. Track opens at 1:00 sunday afternoon.

This is a fun facility and a nice diversion from 1/10 and 1/8 scale stuff. You can carry all you stuff in one load from the back seat of your car. I'm going to build a rack on my motorcycle to carry everything. (saves gasoline!)

Ever wonder why there only a few inside tracks around and a lot more ouside tracks :confused: (ALL inside Tracks) MUST have support in the SUMMER to be around for you in the WINTER. :confused: (SUPPORT ALL inside Tracks in the Summer too. ;) ) :) (OUTside tracks need support TOO!) But can only do so much in the winter due to old man Weather :eek: .

There are only around 3 (inside tracks) in about 100 mile radius and 2 close up in the Summer :confused: , Several Outside tracks do run in the Winter as they can, mainly from weather conditions :( .

Actually, the Mini Coopers are a little bit smaller than the Legends cars. I'll try to stop by with mine so you can see it. Cheap motors and batteries plus they seem to be pretty durable equals a heck of a lot of fun.

Went out to the track Weds. night to let Smitty check out the Mini-Cooper. It'll run that little road course with no problem. It even works on the off-road better than the Carismas do!! 4 or 5 of them at once would be plenty and they'll still have room to run. They're about the same size as the Carismas!!

Sorry I haven't been able to make it lately. Being heavily involved in so much at my son's school, trying to help my mom out, and changing positions at work has not left me much free time.

And I'm sorry I was a little cranky the last time I was there. So much going on, now my mom is having surgery next week, then the day after that I have to take my son to see a cardiologist over in Greenville. I've been sorta stressed out.

It will probably be awhile before I can race anymore. But I want to thank you and Lisa for all the fun I've had in the last year. You both did a great job trying to provide another place to race and have fun. If I can get off work early one Friday, I might ride out and try the road course sometime.

i do hope that everyone is doing well. my computer is still sick, but getting serious help this week. i am surprised that the wife let me use her laptop she has for her job. we set up a wireless router in the house, and it does better than i expected. :cool:

we have been working some serious hours lately. 10 hours monday thru friday, and 8 on saturday. :eek: with all due respect for the troops, as long as there is a war, i will have plenty to do to support the armed services of the USA.
