Hey, I have a Duratrax Streak, and the control lead (to the reciever), is extremely frayed, and won't let the motor or ESC really work, cuz it cuts on and off from the wires touching each other. The ESC has two levels, the lower one with all the wires, then and upper one, which has a pushbutton and control pod. I can't get the upper deck off, because it is soldered to the bottom one, through 8 solder points. Duratrax wanted $28 for repair (its a $40 esc!)(to replace the wire!), but is there someone on this board or knows of someone that will repair the wire? (of course i'd pay) Thanks- Zack

i have two for back-up. You can solder a new a new lead on to it. If that does not work you can up-grade. The F-3000 is good fo $100.

Why nt junk it and pick up something a bit better. Its not worth the $28 to repair it. for an additional $32 you can have a novak fusion w/12 turn limit and its a novak!

Yeah, but I don't want to buy a new one. I'll see if my LHS can fix it.
