Has anyone out there put a center diff in a Twin Force. I believe it could be done. With a single BL motor set up.

not much reason to put a center diff in, the chain drive stands upto coke can brushless motors and center diff would take out the wheely action. The truck is the best basher out there, its not a race truck.

TCD diffs? MP5 center what?
I understood the first part...mine will be going BL when Castle gets their Monster Maxx Mamba on the market, but until then the stock motors and ESC (I ordered the "Spirit) will have to do.

Why wait? There are a few running the Mamba Max/Feigao 540-9L combo successfully. I have a few left in my Holiday specials.

From readin this thread, it seems that the aluminum diff gears are the weak point of the truck.. but someone mentioned that there's steel replacement? Any link for that?
Thinking about getting one of these bad boys!!
How are the chain drive holding up, though?!

Newbie to the Twin Force here, hope to get one at some stage. Used to own a Mad Force, so I'm not expecting the TF to go as fast. I should have just got the TF instead, should've stuck to what I know. Electric.
cfjan. I replaced the aluminium gears in the MF with alloy ones. Just have a look `round the Kyosho site, you should find a link or something there.

Just buy a brand new one. They're available direct from Kyosho's website for a good price. Or you could have your LHS order one in for you. HRP or Kyosho can get one to your LHS. Personally, I bought the Spirit and I'm glad I did. All the extras really are worth the little bit of extra money you pay.

Yeah..
I think that I might just do that. Last time I picked up my first Twin Force, I got the kit for only $200.00. I should have held on to it, but I think I might get the Spirit off of the Kyosho website...
I was reading up on the E Savage...might go that route, I'll see what my friend has in stock right now...

E Savage need so many things to make it tuffer, the diffs are small, the drives are plastic..

I just scored a TF with a center diff, on Ebay. You Emaxx guys might know the guy as Promod. The TF has a center diff with a motormount setup for a 22 series lehner, New era chassis and arm supports, 1"extenders and standard offset truggy wheels and tires. I plan to power it with a 2250/10turn with a new MGM 16018 esc and 4-6s lipo's:D

Crazyjr,
That is one beautiful truck. Just wondering, with having that center diff does it unload the front tires alot on take off?
CarbonShadow
08-26-2007, 09:15 PM
It would probely launch better 'cause its not wheeling off the line.

With that motor, all it does is dump into the front... after it hits the wheelie bar. This truck is the most powerful rc i have or ever seen outside of vids. I have eagletree loggs where its pulling 120amps at 20V of input, thats slightly under 2600 watts, thats 3.46 HP with more torque than a lot of the high dollar italian engines
CarbonShadow
08-28-2007, 09:15 PM
O.O! Thats more than my go-cart! 2 1/2 HP. Wow man you got lucky and got a REALLY fast car!

Hey cfjan,
I've been thinking about this for a while and since I hardly ever get to run it I've been thinking about letting go of my highly modified Twin Force.
If you are interested e-mail me at jr7863@sbcglobal.net and I can sent you all the spec's and some pic's.

Hey guy's, I need some help. I broke the right rear outer housing, right at the C-hub, and need a replacement piece. I prefer new, but would consider a used crack free piece. Anyone got a link to where replacement parts can STILL be bought. Thanks in advance

Check out RC4WD.com

Their parts are machined and expensive but they'll be the last ones you'll ever use.
