I have a Paashe H and a D500 compressor and when the paint is too thick I have to use that Faskleaner to make it run better so it will work. The problem is now it comers out to watery and it looks really bad, I tried use more and less of it but it is either thick but won't come out or it will be too watery, what should I do?

to thin paint it only takes a drop or 2 of thinner, you don't need to over due the thinning part. Also practice first on something else before you spray in your car. Thats what i always do.

Just a note, I think Faskleaner actually disolves the paint, not thins is. Try thinning it just with water first and see how it does.

Faskolor is pretty thick, so consider going to a larger tip if possible. I am using a #3 on my Paasche VL, and I was airbrushing for the first time in about a year today: Either the paint was too thick or the tip was too small, or a little of both.

you could try to switch paints:confused: I use createx auto air and it comes out pretty fine for me.

createx and Faskolor are the same thing with different labels. Faskolor just has about a dollar a bottle mark-up because it's "specially designed for Lexan"....whatever:rolleyes: I use Createx almost exclusively.

If the paint is a little too thick, just back out the needle a smidge. I'm not familiar w/ the Paasche models, but my brushes have a locking nut that holds the needle in place. For thick paints, I loosen the nut and pull out the needle a bit and re-tighten the nut.

Try this before thinning. I NEVER thin the paint.
