what are the best upgrades for the tc3?
Aluminum drive shaft
Heat Sinks
Threaded shocks
Upgraded Springs
if you still have the stock motor then replace it
also if you still have stock gearing...change the pinion gear
aluminum battery strap with heatsink fins
carbon fiber chassis
blue under bumper
Trinity blue foam bumper
lol prolly some others too....cant think of em right now
o yes also....
bearings for the steering rack (if not already installed)
and if you break the stock steering rack then upgrade to an aluminum steering rack

whats blue under bumper? and what about the graphit kit form tower?
this is the under bumper....here (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCXJ9&P=7)
its wider then the stock black one and gives more protection to the front A-arms so the chances of breaking the front A-arms in a collision arent as great.
and about the graphite kit...i dont know really...to me it looks no different from the stock composite one...i assume since its more exspensive it would be lighter...am i not correct?
maybe someone else can answer that question.

maybe someone else can answer that question. The carbon kit will lower the weight about an ounce. The downside is that the parts are stiffer but more fragile and prone to break easier.
Most of the hop-ups are for appearences, however, springs and bearings are always good to have. The threaded shocks work exactly like the non-threaded ones but allows quick ride height adjustments without using clips.
The larger front bumper, from Bud's or RPM, is a good upgrade to protect the front end. Heatsinks add weight and even block some of the air vents on the motor causing them to run even hotter. I believe that the new kits come with the Al shaft, the old one is just as good but not blue. The AL battery holder weighs more but also acts as a heatsink.
The best hop up is finding a good tire for the track you race at and lots of practice time.
well on the heatsinks....you dont have to cover the entire motor in heatsinks...one short one would be enough.
and the older stock black composite shaft is hollow...the ability to do as well as the aluminum isnt there.
