Most micro items are scratch built. Pushrods from piano wire or carbon fiber rod, Clevises? Z-bends is all you need. Control horns hand cut from 1/16 lite ply, etc.

Check out some of the pictures in the photos section for some more details.

Dubro has come out with some micro control stuff. I recently bought a pair of *tiny* EZ Connectors, and I saw their new micro pull-pull setup at the LHS (Local Hobby Shop) yesterday.

Hardware tends to be cheap. Look through the Hobby-Lobby catalog (easier than trying to find on the web-site, although everything in the catalog is on the site). They have a reasonable selection of the park-flyer sized stuff. Then get anything you think you will ever need with your next order. Probably under $20 total.

Peck Polymers also has hardware, less clevises and stuff, but more towards nesting aluminum tubing and 10" or so lengths of piano wire in many different sizes. A good selection of wheels, etc. Again, just place a hardware order and stock up your workshop.

Buy a Lite Stik. The plastic control horns etc are top notch and there are more supplied than you need. Keep the extras for other planes. If you keep buying GWS planes you will have a continuous supply of their fittings. This could be a rationale for buying planes on a regular basis.
