Or add some filling and round those edges off.:)

What is this project anyhow?

This is a new tunnel hull that I'm experimenting with. I did not have any problem designing the hull, the cowling is not coming to me. I am building from scratch. Kinda thinking about just buying a pre-formed cowling. Just can not make all of the rounds out of wood like you can with fiber glass. The pic is a very bad one, showing what looks like defects, is not.

How about some rolled balsa? You know; cut out a few U shaped spars (ribs) run stips to connect one about every two/three inches. Wet the sheeted balsa or steam it and roll it over the spars like we used to do the planes. Tack with a t-needle & a drop of CA... epoxy over and sand & fill....... WHA LA!

Shoot if you've got those kind of skills then this should be cake.

(I'm still interested to know how you come up with these ideas):)

So for, my plans and ideas, have all originated from some one saying, "That kinda boat will not run". Others just pop up in my head at any point and time.
I awake thinking boats, eat thinking boats, work thinking boats, in the shower thinking boats, going to bed thinking boats, sleeping thinking boats.
Here it is christmas morning, and I have one sitting on the table.

Thought I was the only one:o

I remember Pops telling me we were going fishing the next day and not being able to sleep that night from thinking about getting to run the boat!
