I am geting ready to build the 36 inch wingspan Guillows cessna!72 sky hawk kit any comments you could give would be a great help. If this works out my next targets will be the stearman and sopwith in the same category from guillos :D

Check out the Herr kits. They have a Stearman that a number of people have converted to electric RC. If I had a choice between a Guillow and Herr kit for the same plane, I'd go with the Herr. Herr's are laser cut and known to fly very well. Check out http://www.iflyherr.com/ some of their planes come as electric versions. Guilllow kits are known to be somewhat heavy and not fly particularly well. Still, many people have converted Guillow's.

I've converted a Guillows C-172 to electric 280 power. I've completed the airframe and now it is time to install the electronics and cover it. I found that the Wattage gearboxes (like comes with the Sporty) are actually the best fit to completely hide under the C172 cowl. My Cessna is set up for four channel operation REAT.

Good Luck!

Kevin :)
