I am getting a b4 for x-mas and i dont want to go through spoilers left and right so i am wondering where i can find those antena-like tings that prevent the body from scrapeing too bad. My uncle has them on his buggy and it has saved his body many times. Any links or suggeshtions will be helpful. thx.

Don't be concerened about that, just drive the car. The spoiler will last a lot longer than you think. As I said, when you get the car, don't worry about all those miniscule (sp?) things to protect it, just DRIVE IT. Did I make my point clear enough? lol

Dude I have a B3, I have turned it over so many times and I'm talking a 10x1 D5 Flatliner w/3300's the spoiler is still fine. Also, as B3guyrc10 said, just drive the car, if your not breaking something your not having fun, anyone who knows me knows I'm **** about my car(keeping it in tip top shape and clean), but theres no point in getting such a great car and worrying about a $4.00 wing. You'll scrape apart the chassis and beat your shocks and arms into the ground before you need a new wing, guaranteed. Hope my advie helps and I don't get chewed out.

if your so iffy about the wing, than don't put it on! My B3 doesn't have the wing on it, and i thing it looks better, and more realistic. the b4 on the other hand, has a different body than the b3 (duh) and the body stops at the wing so it will look goofy, but that is the price you pay if you want to save a piece a lexan that only helps on race day.

I think your thinking of a roll over antenna...those are mainly for on-road use in 1/10th and 1/12th pan cars. Any other car is really too heavy for them and will break them.

bodies are cheap - Like $15 and some come with 2 wings

Have fun with it if you tear up a wing or a body not a big deal really ;)

Plus I enjoy painting new bodies and enjoy a fresh look every once and a while

if your worried about flipping put softer springs on and lighter oil, this will give the car a softer setup and should help the car from flipping. Lower that sucker too if you don't want it to flip, will have a lower center of gravity.

But seriously why worry about a wing, the wing is there to protect the body.

DONZT WORY ABOUT IT! Do you really want your new buggy to look like a toy with rollover prevention wire? The spoilers dont break. Dont worry!

actually that wil make it roll more, a softer setup will provide more traction and cause it to roll easier, go way stiff and it wil just slide

Really, I had a rock hard set up for my xxx awhile back because we had huge jumps, and I have to be so careful around turns.

Yes you are truly right, I am oblivious when it comes to anything R/C. I have never crashed a R/C in my 6 years in this hobby so I can not personally comment on this. Maybe if you are that concerned about crashing you should....

NOT CRASH! Works for all of us...

This is what we get for actually taking the time to reply with our knowledge of a certain area... "Damn noobs', if ya can't beat em' you need a bigger stick..."

If you havnt crashed in 6 years, you must keep your cars on the shelf and just look at them:D I know that the best racers in the world crash, so you must have some major skills.

But as far as the antenna goes, i would think that it could break easily. They are very rigid and if you land upside down after a jump, I would think that there would be a good possibility of it breaking.
