Nitro minis?

I see a lot of mini, micro, and other small scale cars and even trucks now, but they're all electric! Do companies find it just too hard to make a nitro micro? Granted the engine and fuel tank would take up most of the space, but with some ingenuity and engineering, wouldn't it be possible? Please tell me I'm not the only one wanting a nitro micro!

HPI use to have a Mini but it's been discontinued. If you haven't seen it go to the HPI site and look under Kits, then discontinued models. Everything is pretty jammed together to get it small.

Whats the use of a micro nitro. The best part of having a micro is that you can run them indoors. It would probably also be very slow. The only good thing that i can think of is that you could run many more at a time than regular sizes.

I think a mini-nitro s/t would be pretty fun it wasnt underpowered. I was gonna get a mini-t but screw that Im spending $100 or so more for a T4 :cool:. But when I get a job that is coming up soon a mini-t w/a BL may be on my wish list...But for now a T4 with a Novak SS would definitely make the cut.

The only way I could think of fitting all the electronics and engine inside a mini is if you had like a double decked chassis, but I dont think thatd work (just thought it through and itd be a major pain). Ill have to go to HPIs site and check out their mini though...

the micro rs4 is not what I would call a under powered car stock. part of the fun of the mini cars/trucks is running them inside and with a large enough track a large group all at once.

My LHS had an 1/18 micro pan car with a small airplane engine in it. Its possible, just have to think a little out of the box.

that nitro mini is pretty bad ass
