Hi All,
The latest off my workbench is this one I call the Projectile. It was developed in a never ending quest for a smooth, fast electric model that is pattern capable in breezy weather(calm too). Since I am a fan of the smaller models, this was a consideration as well. Some of the stats follow:
Wingspan-41", average chord-7.25", weight 18 oz. Power is a Mini AC brushless motor driving though a 4-1 gearbox. The prop is an 8-6 APC Slow Fly. The battery is an 8-cell pack of KAN 950 ni-mh cells. The wing and stab are open frame with Solite covering, the fuselage and fin are all balsa with Monokote covering. There is very little in the AMA pattern that the Projectile ccannot do well (I wish I could say the same for myself) Picture follows.
Regards, Dave
