There are some previous posts on this site discussing the new GWS EDF's that are either available or unavailable (I seem to be confused whether or not the EDF is ready for consumer use). Anyway I thought I'd start a new thread. Does anyone know/have the physical dimensions of the fan shroud? How is it mounted? I know that there is some info in regards to thrust and fan size, but I would like to have some hard dimensions to design around.
Thanks in Advance

I don't think it is available yet. We have all ask about the dimensions so that we can look at a new line of possible micro and park flyers. All we know is that the airframe has to be very light. We assume that from it's name that it has a 50mm diameter. I await new information as others do.

GWS EDF50 was shown at RCHTA show.
I brough 50 Pcs samples and give to some writers of RC magazines and potential distributors. You will see that very soon in the USA. :)
Sometimes, distributor are very conservative, due to business very tight now. They always want to try. Sorry for to many products expensive but not works well make them do thing very carefully! This situation somehow make GWS products so solw to go into USA.
GWS will establish a service office at LAX area very soon. Keep all products samples to be ready for tested by eary birds, magazines writers, kit manufactures designers.... :)
Pls go to see http://servoman.hypermart.net
You will see a lot GWS products. I believe that only less than 1/5 items was sold to USA!
Hope you geys find what you need from GWS and tell dealers what your favorite items which avalible from GWS! :D

Houng,
Thats great, I hope you get the distributors to buy into your new EDF. My question has not been answered. You stated that you "brough 50 Pcs samples" to the RCHTA show, so I'm assuming that the major portion of the EDF tooling is complete. My question has to do with the physical size of the fan shroud (case as you refer to it on http://servoman.hypermart.net) so we can determine how to use your new product in our new designs. Maybe my answer is that you do not want to give this information out just yet, or that there are possible changes being considered in your EDF design.
Thanks in Advance

We have EDF50 here in Taiwan, but Express Mial cost too much to send this inexpensive unit! :(
Sorry, I don't know how to put files in this BB. But you can see EDF50 on GWS web:
