View Full Version : K&B 3.5 outboard screws?

hey i need to know what kind of mounting screws or bolts i need i have the prather adjustable bracket but i need the 4 screws or bolts for the engine to mount to the bracket. can i find them at my local hardwear store?

I get all my stainless steel nuts, bolts, and screws at my local hardware store. Just take the piece in with you to make sure you get the right size and you 'll be alright.

so i bring the motor and the bracket in and match it up..i think i need bolts for the adjustalbe kind..that works as long as i can use the hardwear store bolts..

Oh! I thought you only needed the bolts for the mounting hardware.

i need the bolts that the engine plate goes onto the adjust bracket alredy mounted on the boat..

I think i know what you are talking about...

You need 4-40 UNC cap screws about 1/2" long and some 4/40 UNC lock-nuts that fit into the slots. you will also want 4 washers to got between the bolt head and the K&B plate.

Hope this helps...oh and i am not sure if you can get them from your local hardware dept because i am from Australia, but i think we can over here
