I have a LRP comp that is giving me some trouble. It is used and this is the first time I have tried hooking it up. All connections have been double checked and the ESC is hardwired w/o connectors. I turn on my Tx and then the ESC and it lights up as if all is well. The steering servo has juice and operates fine, the red light is lit on the ESC but I have no throttle. If I hold the setup button for 3 secs. (or longer) it won't enter setup mode, the led just stays solid red. If I press and hold the Mode button it appears to go into mode control and I can set those functions, but still no way to enter setup. Is it toast or is there a trick to Quantum Comps.
Thanks,
MS

have you set it up according to the instructions? if it's toast, you can always use the warranty and get another one..

Go to AE's website and look for the instructions and make sure it's setup right. If it is and still doesn't work I'd get your money back from who you bought it from or have them pay for the repairs. The LRP warranty is a LIMITED lifetime warranty so it may not be completely covered. Even if it isn't the repair costs are small. I got a refurbished replacement from them for like $40 for the one I burnt up.

I went through the instructions word by word, set it up accordingly and even reset it to factory defaults according to the manual. I also checked their website for a faq or online tech help but didn't find anything like the problem I am having. I just wanted to post here and see if I was missing a little hidden trick that wasn't printed or on their site before bugging AE or asking for a refund.
Thanks for the replies,
MS
