I just recently purchase GP 3300 cells and deans pro bars(#3) and I made a few side by side packs and they don't fit into any of the electric vehicles I own. I have tried them in a b4 and a stampede. For some reason they are too big, I can't get them into the battery holder/slot of the vehicle. If anyone can help me that would be great.
Thanks,
Dave

The same exact exact problem happened with my TC3. I just had to whip out the dremel & bzzzzzzz!

I take it this is your first time building a pack. Is the pack built tight and flat? If not read this (http://www.rccaraction.com/rc/articles/build_battery.asp) Side by Side packs should fit into an electric without any extra dremel help, as long as the car is not "stick or saddle" only like a few cars are. Anyhow good luck....

I have the same problem too. I build all my packs with a battery jig and they're perfect. It's the Pro 3 bars; they're too fat to fit in most battery trays. All my packs that don't have the Pro 3 bars fit nicely. The funny thing is, you're supposed to use the Pro 3 bars for NIMH cells. Just bust out the dremel and trim things down a bit (the battery tray, NOT the battery bars!).

What I did was I flattened the deans pro bars', by doing this I manage to get it to fit. Hey it works and I am happy.

I use the original ProBar from Deans for GP3300s. They fit nicely into my TC3 without any modifications.
