Thank You for your kind words. But I must confess, that I'm still a beginner in depron building. I've been just learning and practising so far... The next two projects (1:12 scale Fokker CX WWII biplane for Speed 280 and Russian Polikarpov I-16 WWII fighter for Speed 400) will be more demanding.

By the way, the materials for my Garden Cub did cost about 30 FIM (less than 5 USD). Very cheap for example compared to buying and building a PicoCub ARF... :D

The designer of Garden Cub is Neil Gillies, but yes - much more rewarding when building from scratch.

I replaced GWS DX-A with 4:1 geared Speed 280. Now it's even more fun. Flight times are 10 to 15 minutes using 8-cell 800mAh NiMH packs. Looks great airborne.

GWS IPS DX-A with 10X4.7 was designed for indoor fly at low speed but more thrust. If you like to fly more active way, direct replace by GWS 9X7 prop will be great for parkflyers, you will feel faster than 10x4.7.

Good luck,

Nice work,

where can I get the palns? That is foam right. Cool.

I have been flying Cubs lately, after my Pico Cub. It has been a love for the CUB
