Is it safe to assume that the top brace utilizes the mounting bracket on the diffs?

More info/pics would help...

Not to be stupid but what is a TC3"0"??????????

bbhobbies

The top plate mounts to the diff and uses standoffs and also mounts to the stock chassis brace locations

Thats what i thought but iam used to it being called a Durango
It will fit as long as the chassis is not any different than a stock TC3

The "O" is an Off road buggy conversion that does require the chassie to be cut a little bit in the rear and uses a chassie extention in the front. The front is where I think there might be a problem.

haha.. they look nothing alike...
May i ask you what you are smoking?
look at the upperdeck design for one
the chassis cut outs are better on the BMI racing chassis too!

Im not smoking anything, if anything its these companys that think they need to keep reinventing the wheel. what do all the factory drivers use... the stock graphite chassis, why mess with success? oh yea to make money:rolleyes: im not saying it doesnt look cool, it really does, but as far as functionality its going to be about the same as a stock chassis. but i dont care about looking cool, just going fast.

TC3-MIKEB,
you are right buddy, the tc3 is a great design,i love the car.all i wanted to change on it when i designed this chassis was to move the batteries closer to the driveshaft and to make it lighter.being that it is lighter, when i have to make weight,i can put weights where ever it would help me.i tried cutting my stock tub chassis so i could move the batteries toward the driveshaft and i actually made the chassis weak.when i did testing on the new chassis,it was just what i wanted.it is very adjustable.you can adjust flex, you can make the car flex a little or make it rock solid.i origionally made this chassis for myself but when people saw it,they wanted it.i started making them in production and sell them as cheap as i can and offer alot for the money.i am not out to beat ya in the wallet..

FT drivers drive FT chassis because they are paid to drive that companies car...

I don't think most of factory teamdrivers have a freedom of running an option chassis from a different company.

You hit the nail right in the head man

Cool cool. im not knockin it. it looks sweet as hell. but i was wondering what kind of mount is that for the motor. and exactly how much weaker was the FT chassis after you moved the batteries closer. and also how can you adjust the flex in the BMI chassis, and why would you want to? Mike

perfect tc3

for adjusting flex you can remove the center brace support located in the center of the car.people who have less experience find the car easier to tune when it has a little flex.and it also is sometimes prefered by people who race on pavement.carpet guys and very experienced guys like it stiff and when all the braces are in,there is nothing stiffer.with the stock tub, when you cut the battery slots to move them in, you have to cut into the re enforcements under the driveshaft which also is a big portion of what makes the stock tub stiff.when you remove that you remove strength.thanks for your compliments on my chassis,i tried real hard to make something pretty, yet functional at the same time.thanks

I am very interested in your BMI Chassie but I want to use it for My TC3"O". I am hesitant to shell out the money unless you are sure that it will work with the Off road conversion. It requres some chassie modifications. Here are some pics of the origonal chassie. Do you think it will work? Has anyone else done this yet?

IMHO, you should stay with the plastic tub chassis for offroading.

perfect tc3, nice chassis. Can you make it to accept the NTC3 suspension?

hey guys, thanks for the compliments on the chassis.unfortunately it does not fit the nitro suspension.it does however fit the nitro steering rack.also,i am not sureif it would fit the tc3 o
however i will look into it for ya

mcquto, I am sure with a little tweaking you could get the bottom part of the chassis to work on the "O", but the upper deck would be too short due to the "O"s aluminum front chassis extender. Your best bet to getting usable a graphite chassis w/ upper deck would be to make one yourself...
