Hi there, I need to find a fast charger for my 9 volt 150mah rayovacs and have seen a few suggestions but here's the catch.

I wwant to have a dc charger that can be charged of an ac outlet if necessary. AND can do more than one battery at a time if possible.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...
Thanks
Jamie

I would not recommend fast charging these batteries. They consist of seven button cells which have a higher internal resistance than cylindrical cells and so they will heat up if you fast charge them. At $6 they are cheap enough to buy several af them and have them charged for your outings. You can top them off at the field by using a DC to AC inverter and then plugging in one or two Rayovac chargers.
Otherwise, I suggest that you buy the 120mAh NiMH batteries from Cloud 9 and then use a Sirius 100 or Bob Selman charger, which both run on DC only, though you can use the Rayovac charger on them if they are 7 cell packs. I made up and adapter to use the Rayovac charger on my 7 cell packs.

I peak charge them at .2A with no problems so far.

does any one know what kind of draw that these 9 volts draw on a gws motor direct drive. I have tried to hook one up and my esc keeps cutting off @ half throttle, I figured that its pulling too much.

I measured mine at 7.0V @ 1.0A for a few seconds before they slowly drop below that. I have not tried them at higher currents, I only did this test on one small motor.
Allan, you have more experience with this.
