i heard that kyosho is coming out with a new and improved version of the mini-z. anyone know anything about it?

Check out the new RC Car Action issue. They did a test and review of it. It has a new setup basically to improve handling and i think it has a lower center of gravity.

I think he’s talking about the Enzo or the MR-02. I actually race Mini Z’s (racer). I have the MR-02 and it does handle a bit better, but not much better. There are some improvements to make the new Mini Z easier to work on. The only bad thing about it is that there’s not a lot of parts for it yet. They are slowly coming in. So just be careful with it if you do get it.

Kyosho is coming out with another version of the MR-02. It will be a rear motor mount instead of the current mid motor mount. Here’s some links (taken from Mini-ZRacer.com):
