hey whats up i have seen a few pics of the electric tc3 with the nitro suspension. is there any bennefit to this? and does any one have a list of all parts necessary to complete this transfer and specifically where to get them.

here's a link to a picture of what im talking about, i have no interest in the carbon chassis just the suspension conversion.

opinions on this conversion are more than welcome. Thanks
Mike

You need the chassi, thats what the conversion is. Its not a TC3 to ntc3 suspension conversion, its a ntc3 to electric conversion. You have to buy a ntc3 kit and use their chassi and motor mount instead of the nitro ones.

So you're saying that it's the NTC3 suspenion on a chassis developed for that suspension to make it electric?

That's what it is. You will need the front and rear suspension, transmissions, driveshaft, steering arms, pivot balls, uprights, CVD's, Front Bumper assembly, hinge pins, etc... from the NTC3.

The only thing you could use from the Electric TC3 would be the transmissions, and shocks, but everything else will come from the NTC3.

This looks cool, but I cannot imagine too big of a use since 200mm kits are too large to be legal for racing, and the electric TC3 kits suspension weighs less than the NTC3's.

Anyone have a good reason as to why you would want to use the NTC3 suspension and drivetrain on an electric TC3, other than to make it beefier?

This would be a very dumb idea but maybe it's to sell these very expensive conversions to people that have a NTC3 but want to race indoors on carpet during the winter. This way they don't need to buy a TC3FT for $260. This way you can spend $250 for the chassis and move everything over from the NTC3.

Makes absolutely no sense to me!!!!:D

Well thats the kind of input i was hoping for. as long as the electric's suspension does all the same stuff then there's reallly no comparative advantage is there? No. i didnt know that the nitro stuff was heavier too. thats all i need to know, thanks guys.
