i just had 3 batteries short circut in the last month:mad:

2 peak racing 2400 and a duratrax sanyo cell 1500 7cell

now the only battery i have is the one i first bought, the pihrana 1500 6 cell (that battery its so reliable... i droped it in a pool and it still worked)

anyway i am going to get more batteries and im jus wondering if anyone knows of any batteries to stay away from...

i know the shark sucks and now im questioning the the peak racing

I don't know when ever I buy a nice battery something always happens to it. So now I just stick to cheepie batteries, I now think my current pihrana is abou to die, but hey its two years old and well abused so I can't complain. How'd the other batteries short out.

Don't know what caused your short circuiting problem, but I would try to find out what caused before buying new packs.

There are a host of dealers and places you can obtain packs and cells from, you just have to shop around and watch for specials.
Tower Hobbies, Stormer Hobbies, Pro Match, B&T Racing, Integy and others are good places to watch for sales and specials. You could purchase a box of Epic GP3300 (24 per box) and assemble them yourself or purchase stick packs, matched stick packs or loose cells sold by some non RC battery company that can be much cheaper than from a RC related dealer.
