Is it good to use 3m adhesive before you paint your body?

As in spraying glue on the body to help the paint stick?

No, the paint has its own formula to help it stick. If you clean the body with warm water and dish soap, and then spray the paint in light coats you should not have a chipping problem.

No dont use any other paint except lexan body paint such as pactra's racing finish or something. Regular paints aren't made to stick to lexan (polycarbonate) and they are not made to flex and bend as a lexan body will do...alot. There's no reason to use any other paints besides the pactra or similar R/C hobby paints. They come in every possible color and finish and work extremely well. They are not expensive either.
